SafeCadence is an educational resource. Nothing on this site is professional security, legal, or financial advice.
The tools are educational, not authoritative
Every tool on safecadence.com surfaces signals to help you make a better-informed decision. None of them is an authoritative verdict. A “low risk” score doesn’t guarantee a URL is safe. A “high risk” score doesn’t guarantee a message is a scam. The tools combine heuristics, public threat data, and pattern matching — useful, but not infallible.
If you are about to make a decision with money, identity, or safety on the line — transferring funds, sharing credentials, opening an attachment, accepting a job offer — verify independently. Call the company on a number you found yourself. Type the brand’s known URL into your browser. Talk to your IT or security team.
Use against systems you own or are authorized to test
Some tools (Port Scanner, Subdomain Finder, Website Security Audit, DNS Security Check) probe public-facing services. Use them only against systems you own or are explicitly authorized to test. Unauthorized scanning may violate the U.S. Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, the U.K. Computer Misuse Act, the EU Cybercrime Directive, and similar laws in other jurisdictions. You are responsible for legal authorization for any target you submit.
AI explanations may be wrong
The optional “Add plain-English AI explanation” toggle on some tools sends a structured summary of the analysis to OpenAI for a short educational explanation. Large language models occasionally produce confident-sounding but incorrect statements. Treat AI explanations as a teaching aid, never as a verdict.
Threat briefs and blog content
Articles describing scam patterns, breach incidents, or vulnerability disclosures are written for general education. They are not incident response advice for a specific situation. If you believe you’ve been targeted by an attack — especially business email compromise, ransomware, or wire fraud — contact a qualified incident response firm and law enforcement.
No professional relationship
Using SafeCadence does not create a security-consultant, legal, financial, or other professional relationship between you and us. If you need professional security or legal advice, hire someone who can review your specific situation under appropriate confidentiality.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SafeCadence and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, the tools, or any content on it.
Reporting a problem
If a tool gave you a result you believe is wrong, or if you spotted a security issue with the Site itself, please email hello@safecadence.com. We respond within 48 hours.
