What SafeCadence is
SafeCadence is a free, sign-up-free library of cybersecurity tools for everyone — the person checking whether a text message is a scam, the small business owner trying to harden their email setup, the IT professional who needs a fast SPF lookup. 120+ tools across 12 categories, all in one place, with no upsell to a paid version.
Why we built it
Most cybersecurity tools online are either (a) trapped behind a corporate-buyer lead-gen wall, (b) deliberately scary to upsell a product, or (c) so technical that only a security engineer can use them. We thought there was a third option: useful, fast, plain-English tools that anyone can run in 15 seconds, with no account, no tracking, and no manufactured fear.
How we make money
The tools are free because the site shows ads (Google AdSense) and runs an opt-in newsletter. We do not sell your data, we do not run ads inside the tools themselves, and we do not collect personal information when you use the tools. For people and companies that need hands-on security work beyond what a free tool can give — assessments, incident response, fractional CISO — we offer paid consulting separately.
Our promises
- Free, forever. No premium tier, no “upgrade for unlimited checks.” If you can hit a tool, you can use it.
- Privacy first. Most tools run entirely in your browser. The few that need our server never store your input.
- Plain English. Tool results explain what the signals mean and what to do next. No jargon walls.
- Accountable to mistakes. If a tool returned a wrong result, email us and we’ll fix it.
