The short version: only request scans for domains you're authorized to scan, our findings are informational and not a guarantee of security, and paid work is governed by the proposal or statement of work we agree to separately.

Acceptance

By using the SafeCadence website and services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or request a scan.

The free scan — authorization required

You may request a free external scan only for a domain you own, operate, or are authorized to assess. By submitting a domain you confirm you have that authorization. Do not submit domains you are not authorized to scan. Our scans use publicly available data only and do not access your systems.

Findings are informational

Scan results, scores, and reports are provided for informational purposes. A good score is not a guarantee that your systems are secure, and a finding is not a certainty. You are responsible for your own security decisions. We recommend verifying findings before acting on them.

Paid services

Assessments, remediation, and monitoring are described and priced separately in a proposal or statement of work. Those documents govern the specific terms, scope, and deliverables of any paid engagement.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site or services to scan, probe, or target systems you do not own or are not authorized to assess.
Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to our service.
Do not misuse reports or content in violation of applicable law.

Intellectual property

The website, its content, and the SafeCadence name and branding are owned by SafeCadence. Reports we deliver are provided for your internal use.

Disclaimer of warranties

The website and free scan are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SafeCadence is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or free scan.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date.
